I’m Katie, a Melbourne-based Marriage Celebrant specialising in Legals Only weddings. I work with couples who want to be legally married in a way that feels straightforward, calm and considered — without pressure, performance or overwhelm. Whether your ceremony is at home, outdoors, or somewhere quietly meaningful, I’ll guide you through the legal process clearly and take care of the details so it feels manageable and grounded from start to finish.

My role is to bring clarity and steadiness to the process — explaining the legal requirements clearly, communicating openly, and adapting to what you actually need. I don’t work from scripts or formulas. I take the time to understand what matters to you and create a ceremony that feels appropriate, calm and genuinely human.

Katie is the most magical story teller, she listens and is 100% respectful of what you want for your ceremony. Katie has a joyful and calming presence. I am the sort of person who cries when happy, sad, at books, at TV commercials, everything, yet somehow I was having so much fun during our ceremony, and felt so so calm I barely shed a tear, our guests on the other hand not so lucky. We had so many guests come up to us to specifically comment on and compliment Katie and our ceremony and how emotional they had been, barely a dry eye in the house, either from laughter, joy, or emotion!
